FAQs - Bookings &
Rates

  • The lodge has 8 rooms and can accommodate 16 persons - 2 people per room per night.

  • Rates change slightly throughout the season - please see our rates page for general rate information, or go to our availability calendar to see the full calendar.

  • Yes - but there is an additional charge. Please see our rates page for further rate information.

  • Two nights are our minimum. Our weeks run from Sunday to Sunday, seven nights, Sunday to Friday, Five nights and weekends, Friday to Sunday two nights.

    These runs are relaxed in the Value Season (June, September and October) where we will look at any night above the minimum of a two nights stays.

  • Check in is 3pm.

    ​If you wish to arrive earlier in the day and store your luggage for the day, you must arrange this in advance by contacting the Lodge Manager a couple of days before your visit

    PLEASE do not arrive before 9am as departing guests have our Lodge Manager’s full attention.

  • Check out is 9am.

    If you wish to ski on the day of your departure, you may store your luggage downstairs. Please note that on your return you will only have access to the lobby and storage room as you have already checked out.

  • Yes it is! Our Lodge Manager lives on site

FAQs - Catering

  • Our Lodge Manager is a wonderful host and cook, providing a hot breakfast 8am-9am. In the evening, nibbles are served in front of the fire at 5pm in the lounge /dining area, followed by a three course evening meal at 7pm where all guest get to know each other around a very large table. Lunch is not provided.

    PLEASE NOTE - our Lodge Manager has WEDNESDAY NIGHT OFF no evening meal is provided.

    There are many restaurants and hotels to eat out at in Perisher on this night.

  • Coffee and tea are always available in the Dining area. Soft drinks and juice may be purchased anytime. You are most welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks. The supermarket at the Skitube as a Liquor section

FAQs - Transport & Location

  • Perisher has no long stay parking for guests.

    You must park at the Skitube long stay car park provided at Skitube terminal at Bullocks Flat.

    Take the Skitube train to Perisher and disembark with your luggage at the Perisher terminal. Luggage can be loaded into lift by attendants at the platform.

    Your luggage will travel up to second level where you will need to collect it.

    Transport to Aurora Lodge is then booked at desk near supermarket. Operator is Han’s Oversnow, book persons and luggage at own cost. See our Location page for more details.

  • The Lodge is about 700 meters from the Skitube with an incline closer to the Lodge.

    As it is a 15-20 minute walk in the snow, we recommend using Oversnow transportation with luggage. Please see the Location & Access page

  • Lodge to Perisher Ski Lifts

    Conditions permitting, you are able to ski down from the Lodge to the Quad chair, about 400 metres downhill.

    It is a short walk back to the Lodge. In the afternoon.

    The Manager provides a pick up service for skis and boots, swapping the ski boots for your apre boots for the walk". "Oversnow skier specials may be available - please check with the operator
