How many people do accommodate?

  • 16 persons, 2 persons per room per night.

What amenities do you have?

  • Aurora has a large communal lounge and dining area opening out to a veranda overlooking Perisher ski fields, drying room, games room with TV, washer & dryer, extra separate shower and toilet for all guests to use. Sauna room, operate by request, hours to be arranged with Lodge Manager. There is free Wi-Fi for guests.

Do you take single adult bookings?

  • Yes with some conditions. Single adult guests pay an additional rate to occupy the double room on their own. A single rate is different to the room rate for two persons. Email to enquire about rates.

What is you minimum night’s stay?

  • Two nights are our minimum. Our weeks run from Friday to Friday, seven nights, Sunday to Friday, Five nights and weekends, Friday to Sunday two nights. These runs are relaxed in the Low Season June, September and October where we will look at any night above the minimum of a two nights stays.

  • Rates vary in the season with Low and Peak periods, hover over Calender for rates prices.

What is an adult rate?

  • Guests 15 yrs and over.

Do you have a child rate?

  • Children are welcome in all months except August. This is a child free month. An exception is considered in August if the child is older. Request on booking children in August is advised. Children’s rates vary with 5-14 yrs at 20% off the adult rate, 0-4yrs, $40 per night but must be in room with parent.

Do rooms have en suites?

  • We have seven rooms with en suites and one room with a hand basin in room. A full size bathroom for guest in this room is across the hall.

Do you provide linen and towels?

  • The rooms have all fresh linen, doonas, blankets and towels provided. As we are a Member Lodge all guests are asked to make own beds on arrival and strip on departure.

Do you have varying accommodation rate through the Season?

  • We have low rates in June, September and October; Peak rates in July to the end of August.

  • We have a live in Lodge Manager in the Snow Season.

Is the lodge catered?

  • Our Lodge Manager is a wonderful host and cook, providing a hot breakfast 8am-9am. In the evening, nibbles are served in front of the fire at 5pm in the lounge /dining area, followed by a three course evening meal at 7pm where all guest get to know each other around a very large table. Lunch is not provided. PLEASE NOTE; our Lodge Manager has WEDNESDAY NIGHT OFF no evening meal is provided. There are many restaurants and hotels to eat out at in Perisher on this night. Coffee and Tea are provided in the Drinks Nook, help yourself anytime. If you require a soft drink it may be purchased from the Lodge. You are most welcome to bring your own drinks. The supermarket at the Ski Tube has a Liquor section.

How do we get to your Lodge?

  • Perisher has no long stay parking for guests. You must park at the Ski Tube in long stay parking provided at Ski Tube. Take Ski Tube train to Perisher, once in Perisher, luggage can be loaded into lift by attendants at platform. Luggage goes up to second level where you collect it. Transport to Aurora Lodge is then booked at desk near supermarket. Operator is Han’s Oversnow, book persons and luggage at own cost. How far is the Lodge from the Ski Tube?

  • Too far to walk with luggage in snow, only for the very fit. The Lodge is about 500 meters from the Ski Tube with an incline closer to the Lodge.

Is the Lodge ski in ski out?

  • Conditions permitting, you are able to ski down from to the Lodge to the Quad chair, about 400 metres downhill. It is a short walk back to the Lodge. In the afternoon. Han’s Oversnow operates a Skier’s Special rate after 3.30pm; check at desk for cost per person.

What time is check in?

  • Check in is 2pm. If arriving early we can provide storage in games room for guests. PLEASE not before 9am as departing guests have our Lodge Manager’s full attention. Early arrivals must email if they wish to store luggage.

What time is check out?

  • Check out is 9am guests are asked to strip sheets only and take with towels down to Foyer Area. If you wish to ski on departure day you are again most welcome to leave luggage in games room. Please respect new guests that have moved in and stay downstairs when picking up luggage.
